Radiometric infrared zoom cameras for flexible use without lens changes
High precision in capturing both large objects nearby and small details at long distances
Ideal for industrial monitoring, process control, research as well as security, border protection and surveillance tasks
Supported by InfraTec’s IRBIS® software for intuitive operation, detailed analysis and versatile system integration
Our radiometric infrared zoom cameras allow universal and efficient use with very different or rapidly changing image fields without time-consuming lens changes and the need to interrupt the measurement. They can be used to capture large objects completely from a short distance as well as the smallest objects from a long distance and to measure their temperatures precisely. Their outstanding technical features make them suitable for a wide range of measuring and monitoring tasks.
The thermal imaging camera and zoom can be controlled from a mobile phone via an integrated web interface specific to the model, or using InfraTec's powerful and intuitive IRBIS® thermography software. This software also offers a range of user-oriented camera control and editing tools, enabling detailed analyses to be carried out efficiently.

ImageIR® 6300 Z is a small, lightweight, compact, cooled MWIR system with (640 x 512) IR pixels and a full frame rate of 180 Hz for universal use in thermographic temperature measurements in a wide variety of application fields. It comes with a 7.5× zoom lens integrated as standard, which, in combination with the motorised focus, allows fast and flexible adjustment to different object distances and sizes while maintaining stable image quality and high measurement accuracy.
The 30× zoom lens of the cooled thermal imaging systems ImageIR® 8300 Z and ImageIR® 9300 Z allows for effortless handling of complex reconnaissance and surveillance tasks such as border protection, vehicle surveillance, environmental monitoring, and animal observation. The outstanding image quality and range are remarkable: land vehicles can be detected up to 18 km away and people up to 15 km away.
Our high-resolution thermographic systems VarioCAM® HD Z are radiometric microbolometer cameras with a high-speed motorised 6× infrared zoom lens for the spectral range of (7.5 ... 14) µm. Equipped with an uncooled FPA detector, they deliver brilliant 16-bit thermal images of the highest quality with (1,024 × 768) IR pixels. This combination of thermography in HD format and the continuous zoom lens opens the door for users to continuous thermal monitoring of processes and plants, even from great distances, in unprecedented detail.

Below pictures illustrate the efficiency of an ImageIR® 9300 Z. Located on an Adriatic radar tower it allows near-field imaging for self-protection, mid-range surveillance of the area adjacent to the tower and remote monitoring of ships near to the coast line. The distance range covers some 25 m to beyond 11 km and even the seaspace to a neighbour island more than 40 km away.
