How can artificial intelligence help to detect potential fires faster, more safely, and more reliably before they even start? InfraTec is launching into 2026 at the TECH TALENT PROGRAM by MotionLab.Berlin with the application-focused project “AI-Enhanced Fire Detection System” designed for aspiring scientists.
In our free of charge online event “Thermography for Industrial Automation” we demonstrate how infrared thermography can be used as an imaging, non-contact measuring method for fast and reliable quality assurance in automated production processes. Learn how temperature distributions and temporal temperature profiles can be captured, analyzed, and used for effective process monitoring.
Our free of charge InfraTec English online event "Infrared Lock-in Thermography for Inspection of Electronics and Integrated Circuits" will provide you with more information about lock-in thermography as a high-precision measurement method for non-contact and non-destructive testing in electronics and electrical engineering.
For quality control of sheet metal joined by resistance spot welding (RSW), an INDU-SCAN test bench in operation was converted using existing technology and modernized by combining it with intelligent algorithms and robot technology. Following a successful pilot phase, the technology is now in series production for electric car manufacturing at the Zwickau vehicle plant.
The new ImageIR® 9800 is the ideal device for high-resolution thermographic measurements of highly dynamic processes, even at low object temperatures. The radiometrically calibrated infrared camera operates in the long-wave atmospheric window (LWIR). Thanks to a cooled focal plane array photon detector with (1,280 × 1,024) IR pixels and a pixel pitch of 12 µm. It delivers razor-sharp images and distortion-free sequences even with short integration times or at low radiation intensity.
