Since 1991 InfraTec has designed and manufactured
high quality Pyroelectric Infrared Detectors in Dresden,
Germany. These optoelectronic thermal sensors use a lithium
tantalate (LiTaO3)
element that produces an electrical charge
when modulated energy (0.1 Hz or greater)
strikes its surface.
