InfraTec is committed to
growing its product line of pyroelectric detectors by new, highly innovative components which
comply with the latest market requirements.
Since 2002 a wide range of current-mode detectors with integrated CMOS OpAmp,
replacing earlier JFET source follower designs, have
dominated our product line. These single and multi-color devices offer a signal voltage in the order of several hundred millivolts in NDIR gas analyzers and can easily be
interfaced to microcontrollers.
In October 2009 a new device series with an ultra low power consumption of only 40 µW @ 2.7 V and single supply
was launched. These devices need fewer pins for
connection which simplifies circuit board design and
assembly.
The flagship LME-336, based on the patented Low-Microphonic chip mounting and its very high responsivity, is specially designed for gas analyzing instruments operating in the 8-12 µm
wavelength range (alcohol, chlorated hydrocarbons, ozone,
etc.).
The LME-346 is of interest for flame detection at large distances. Again,
a Low-Microphonic chip mounting and shorter time constant characterize this detector. A stable DC operating point is
maintained by a thermal compensation element in both devices.
As with all devices manufactured by InfraTec, RoHS and REACH
compliance are assured.
